A Call to Anguish

November 16, 2012

When is the last time we fell on our faces before the Lord and wept and prayed and interceded for the lost?  We have gotten so comfortable with our modern Christianity where we go to church on Sundays, give our tithes, go to bible study on Wednesday, have our little daily devotion, but there’s no fire, no zeal, no jealousy for God’s glory, no anguish to know the heart of God.

David Wilkerson says in his sermon entitled, A call to Anguish, “Does it really matter to you that your unsaved loved ones are dying?  Does it really concern you that they can die and go to hell?  Where’s the anguish?  Where are the tears?  Where is the mourning?  Where is the fasting?”

“A Call to Anguish” by David Wilkerson is probably one of the most intense messages I have ever heard.  He preached this message to his congregation in 2002.  Please, set apart an hour to watch this.
