Talking to strangers about Jesus was something I was never really comfortable doing. I was always afraid that I would say the wrong thing or that people wouldn’t want to listen to me. This past year, I had gone though some very painful trials in my life. One day, a dear sister in Christ, asked me to join her in sharing Jesus at a local farmer’s market. I really had no reason to say no and I thought it would be a great opportunity. Turns out it could not have come at a better time in my life. Having been through such painful trials, it was such a blessing to be able to share the love I have for Jesus with other people who do not know Him.

I was definitely intimidated at first, but once I started talking about Jesus it felt completely normal, like that was exactly where I needed to be. The hope and prayer that His message would penetrate just one person’s heart encouraged me while going through the trials I was experiencing in my life. It’s also encouraged me to start praying for people who do not know Jesus in my own circle of friends and family. Through witnessing, we can share Jesus’s message to men and women who may not otherwise hear it.
